Nicole Young wants 21-hour in-person deposition grilling of Dr Dre in divorce case
Dr Dre’s estranged wife, Nicole Young, has filed documents seeking the in-person deposition of the rap mogul, saying he is not particularly susceptible to Covid-19 and therefore the process should not be done over Zoom.
Young wants the NWA alum to be questioned by her lawyers for eight hours about the validity of their prenuptial agreement and for 13 hours over financial issues, according to court documents seen by TMZ.
Young, who wants the Beats founder to also pay a $50 000 fine for not honoring the rules in their divorce case, noted in her filing that the rapper had already skipped some deposition which was in tune with his character as “his entire career and public persona are based on defiance of authority, violence and refusal to comply with the law.”
She also claimed that the Death Row co-founder felt his wealth made him invincible as he “”has grown accustom to doing whatever he likes, whenever he so chooses.”
In another twist of the ongoing divorce saga last week, Young asked the rap mogul to pay her $2million per month in spousal support while settling her $5million legal expenses.
Young filed for divorce from the Beats Electronics founder in June, citing irreconcilable differences after 24 years of marriage.
The couple has two children, son Truice, 23, and daughter Truly, 19 while the Death Row founder has four other children from previous relationships.
