After seven years of marriage, singer Kelly Clarkson is seeking a divorce from husband, Brandon Blackstock, citing irreconcilable differences.
The syndicated TV show host and Blackstock, a music manager, have been married since October 2013 and have two children together, River Rose and Remington Alexander.
Blackstock also has two children from a previous marriage.
Clarkson has posted a series of videos from the couple’s Montana ranch as the couple obeyed stay at home orders because of the COVID-19 pandemic, with the singer filming remote episodes of her daytime talker, The Kelly Clarkson Show, from the cabin.
Kelly and Brandon, whose father Narvel Blackstock managed Clarkson, reportedly met in 2012 at the Superbowl.
After 10 months of dating, the pair announced their engagement at the end of that year.
According to the divorce filing, Clarkson requested that a prenup be ‘enforced’ and listed the separation date as ‘TBD.’
