Carmen Electra has revealed that her first visit to the Chicago Bulls training complex with Dennis Rodman was one to remember, as the couple had sex in most places in the facility.
The actress revealed this in an interview with the Los Angeles Times, as a follow up to the latest episode of The Last Dance.
The Last Dance chronicles Michael Jordan’s Chicago Bulls as they went on their historic quest for a second 3-peat during the 1997/98 NBA season.
On Sunday’s episode of ‘The Last Dance,’ Carmen recalled one wild weekend in Las Vegas with her then boyfriend, Dennis Rodman.
That episode was not the first time that the couple explored their adventurous side.
“One day when the Bulls had an off day from practicing, Dennis said he had a surprise for me. He blindfolds me and we get on his motorcycle. When he finally takes my blindfold off, we’re standing at the Bulls practice facility, center court,” she said.
“It was crazy, like two kids in a candy store. We were eating Popsicles from the fridge and pretty much having sex all over the damn place — in the physical therapy room, in the weight room. Obviously on the court. To be honest, I don’t think he’s ever worked out so hard in his life.”
Electra revealed how Rodman’s exciting life would sometimes lead him to disappear not only on her, but his teammates as well.
“There were those moments of “Where’s Dennis?” Electra recalled. ‘Other team members would worry when he would run off and they couldn’t find him. There were times when all of us would go to a few bars and then we all would try to get Dennis to go back to the hotel. He would just run away and leave us. There was nothing we could do,” she said.
Rodman’s performances on the court and how they affected the all conquering Bulls, Electra said, also began to reflect on her.
“If Dennis didn’t have a good game, if the Bulls didn’t win, it would reflect back on me in a sense. We were both so out there,” she said.
In one incident Electra hid behind a sofa from basketball icon Michael Jordan when he came looking for his teammate, Dennis Rodman.
“He goes straight to the airport (and) boom, we don’t hear or see Dennis for 48 hours,” Jordan explained.
“I do remember being in Vegas with him…,” Electra added. “One thing about Dennis, he had to escape. He liked to go out, he liked to go to clubs. We’d go to his favourite restaurant, then we’d go to a nightclub, then we’d go to after-hours. It didn’t stop.
“It was definitely an occupational hazard to be Dennis’ girlfriend.”
