Rapper 50 Cent has seemingly reignited his long standing feud with Floyd Mayweather Jnr, claiming he was releasing an audio version of his upcoming novel to accommodate the former boxing champion’s illiteracy.
50 Cent recently announced that he would be releasing his debut novel, The Accomplice. After the announcement, the rapper could not help but poke fun at Mayweather.
“I have no beef with anyone, I even made sure the audiobook comes out at the same time so champ won’t feel left out. [shrug emoji] GLG [traffic light emoji],” he wrote alongside a snap featuring the book’s cover.
“GreenLightGang [film emoji] The accomplice Movie coming soon,” he added also revealing there’s a film in the pipeline, all the while tagging his spirit brands Branson Cognac and Le Chemin du Roi.
This is not the first time the G-Unit boss has poked at Mayweather’s alleged illiteracy.
In a video posted to his Instagram account in 2014, 50 Cent challenged Mayweather to read a page out of a Harry Potter book, saying he’d donate $750,000 to the charity of Mayweather’s choice if the boxer completed the task.
“This is a special A-S-L…E-L-S challenge for you, Floyd,” 50 Cent said. “If you can read one page out of a Harry Potter book, n—-r, I’ll donate $750,000 to whatever charitable organization you want to… f–k the bucket of ice, man!”
