Basketball star Tristan Thompson has started his year with an apology to his ex Khloè Kardashian after he fathered a child with another woman.

The NBA star confirmed he is father to a child with Maralee Nichols and also apologized to Khloè.

He wrote on his Instagram stories: “Today, paternity test results reveal that I fathered a child with Maralee Nichols.

“I take full responsibility for my actions. Now that paternity has been established I look forward to amicably raising our son.”

He went on to apologize to the people he hurt and directly to Khloè.

“I sincerely apologize to everyone I’ve hurt or disappointed throughout this ordeal both publicly and privately.

“Khloè, you don’t deserve this. You don’t deserve the headache and humiliation I caused you. You don’t deserve the way I have treated you over the years.

“My actions have not lined up with the way I view you. I have the utmost respect for you. Regardless of what you may think. Again, I am so incredibly sorry.”

The NBA star had previously denied having sex with Maralee in California where the paternity was filed.

He claimed the only possible date of conception for the child was March 13, 2021 which is his birthday and he was in Texas on that day.

Khloè ended her relationship with Tristan last year after news of him impregnating Maralee broke out. They share a 3-year-old daughter.
