Pop star Britney Spears says she ‘cried for two weeks’ over a recently published documentary about her career.

The documentary titled, ‘Framing Britney Spears’ premiered in February. It examined her mental health problems, her relations with the news and the conservatorship that dominated her life and finances for 13 years.

The 39-year-old singer took to Instagram to say what she feels about the documentary and posted a video of herself dancing to “Crazy by Aerosmith.”

“I didn’t watch the documentary but from what I did see of it, I was embarrassed by the light they put me in. I cried for two weeks and well… I still cry sometimes,” she said.

She expressed the need to dance to Steve Tyler’s music “every night” of her “life to feel wild and human and alive.

“My life has always been very speculated, watched and judged really my whole life, “she wrote.

The “Scream & Shout” crooner continued saying, “It takes a lot of strength to trust the universe with your real vulnerability because I’ve always been so judged, insulted and embarrassed by the media, and I still am to this day. As the world keeps on turning and life goes on we still remain so fragile and sensitive as people.”

What’s more she found joy in dancing and she dances every day.

“Every day dancing brings me joy…I’m not here to be perfect… perfect is boring… I’m here to pass on kindness,” she added.

Britney lost control of all her financial and personal affairs in 2008 after suffering two mental breakdowns. Her father, Jamie Spears (69) was put in charge of her affairs by the court.
